One thing about building a life in Tuscany is that everyday it is a moving target, you just don’t know what you will learn at the end of it, This it is OK as along as its a good thing. I am not saying that everyday has to end on a high note, sometimes I learn more on the challenging days. I will say that I am starting to understand the psyche of the Tuscans, I am here in there territory, it is sometimes hard for me to believe that the will to progress as an individual and as a people is a daunting task. I do believe they want too. America looks so big and complex I can see why the Italian people are afraid of it and us. If they only went and visited the U.S, they would see we how much in common we have and the 2 biggest things we share are food and wine. I will say that I have embraced this country and I love living here, it also helps that we have in such a short time developed a close circle of friends, the universe is responsible for making this happen in our lives. I am slowly understanding how to maneuver myself within this mentality and maintain my focus and drive to accomplish my mission, I will say that for the first time I landed in Chicago I felt I did not belong there and when I returned to Florence, I touched down and said ” Thank god I’m Home” !
What a difference a day makes in Tuscany!
